Cleaned the IC!

Looks nasty, I did mine at 18,000 miles when I did the kenne bell and it was nasty how hard was it to get clean. I imagine a case or more of brake cleaner?
I used a big bucket and filled it with the purple power cleaner from Walmart. Let it sit over night. Worked great. The lower turkey pan was nasty too.
Yea it took about 8 cans of cleaner, took it right off. The worst part was waiting for it to dry. Running awesome now. Had ordered a JLT separator and it gets here tomorrow. Letting it sit until I get it so I won't have to do it again. Diff notice a difference in sound and throttle response.
once you sprayed it with brake cleaner did you have to scrap it off or what did you remove the gunk?

No it came right off. Didn't have to scrape anything. Just cut right through it. Worked awesome.
With 42k miles it probably will still be junked.
I agree. Definitely worth doing. Cheap considering how much performance I got back.
eagle 1 all wheel cleaner is the stuff to use guys....cleans up amazingly and fast
