If you're a legal alien, but a non citizen of the US, are you exempt from paying Federal taxes? I heard that somewhere and I wasn't sure if it was true or not. Just curious....
I would think as long as you are working here in the US, getting money from the US companies that you wouldn't be any different than US citizens who have to pay.
