CircleD Converter Question

I recently purchased an auto 14 GT and have ordered a few parts and think I might add a converter as well, down the road. I recently read that something was changed on the stock converter if the car was produced past 4-14, which required the stock converter to be sent to CircleD. Anyone have any info on this? I have googled my question with no luck and was hoping someone here knows the answer. Thanks!

I dont think the converter would go on to newer cars. I think it is tweaked a little. Could be wrong.

Is yours noisy? Mine is

Mine is quiet, no excessive noise that I've noticed.

Contact Circle D. That would be the best source for the correct answer.

I could do that, just figured someone here has already faced the issue, if it is indeed an issue.
