Is the finish/plating on Chrome Saleen replicas wheels good quality, or do they rust, chip, or pit after a while?

I'm looking at some from MustangTuning

well, i know 2 guys with saleen replica wheels. Rock777 and another friend w/ a 95 gt. not sure if they are the mustang tuning ones. both of their wheels look great and as far as i can ever see, show no signs of any chipping/flaking/fading.

Like 99riocobra said, I have had no pitting, flaking, or even scratching whatsoever. I would buy these wheels again in a heartbeat.

If you get the ones that Wheelreplica sells you will have no issues.. I think that mustangtuning gets their wheels from those guys..

The picture of your 99' Cobra looks schhhhweeeeet, Rock777.
What size chrome Saleen rims and tires are you running, if you do not mind me asking?
18x9's in the front with 275/30/18s and 18x10's in the rears with 315/30/18's.

Also, it looks like you lowered your car. WHat lowering kit ( shocks and springs) did you use?

Very nice and sexy look.

Thanks for the compliment , they are 18x9's w/ 265/35/18 and 18x10.5 w/ 315/30/18 BFG DRs. These along with the rest of the car will be on the market soon enough :cryying:

I've been tossing it around for quite a while now, trying to sell everything but the kitchen sink in order to prevent sellin her, but financially I can't justify it right now. Sad, I know, but I will get another mustang relatively soon, just won't be as nice as Blackie. Actually I already put an add in The Market http://svtperformance.com/forums/showthread.php?t=313843
