Hello,
I am looking to go into CHP after I am done with college, and had a quick question.

During my freshman year of high school, I was clipped during a football game and my kidney was ruptured. I had emergency exploratory surgery and they ended up removing what was left of my kidney.

My question is, would this be grounds for disqualification from doing CHP, or any other police work for that matter?

It doesnt inhibit my movement at all, and I am in perfect health.

Thanks,
Tyler

I don't think so. Lots of people are running around leading normal and healthy lives with one kidney and as long as there is no on going problem with it, I think you would be fine.
