Wow. I just read all 4 pages of that thread. Quite a few of those people are intelligent and have good reasoning....while some are just plain biased for the STi. Didn't see any Mustang trolls over there though....

In capable hands a Cobra will kill a WRX at the track. Yes, Cobras can handle. They are a handful, but they are very fast at the track.

Its kinda like Imprezas get no respect in the 'stang world. They can't fathom that a little 2.0 or 2.5 can be faster than their 4.6 or 5.0. Many people here can't believe that a mustang can turn! (Not talking about you specifically fogdor, other posts).

The stang is a great dry weather performance car. Imprezas can do it all and are easier to handle. Depends what you want out of a car.
