Got one too.........and I also brought a turning light base
its nice watching it with different color shooting through the crystal
I got the light base locally here in some Asian gift shop where they sell other crystal paper weights...........

Yeah, I would definately recommend getting a lighted base for it, you'll appreciate it much more!
