Check Engine P1151

[1998Venom]

My car just threw this code for the second time. :cuss: My mechanic believes it to be relate to the MAF, however, everything I've read on this forum leads me to believe that the code is truly related to my Front, Driver-Side 02 Sensor.

So what do I do? I'm trying to keep my investment in the car to a minimum, as I need a new daily driver...

if its running somewhat crappy check the maf sensor itself and make sure its not black from the cai (dirt), if it is you might wanna clean it with a q-tip or something being careful not to break the connections. had that problem before.

I'll check the MAF first - other than a q-tip, what else do I need to use/know to clean the MAF - I understand who sensitive these items are!

I was told by Pro-m when mine was acting funny to clean it with a pipe cleaner.

i spray mine with electrical cleaner. the chance of breaking it is too high using a q-tip.
