Changing idle with SCT Tuner?

I have a bama tune with SCT Tuner and on their perf tune, they increase the idle to ~900 (instead of stock 650) and I wanted to lower that a little bit. There is an option when installing the tune (modify engine options?) to change the idle rpm: drv and ney: not sure what's the difference between the two, but anyway, they were already at 550 and 650rpm respectively, and yet, after the install, it's still idling around 900rpm.
It does idle at 650rpm if I revert to stock.

How can I modify the idle rpm then?

Idle in drive is just that. The commanded idle rpm when an auto is in gear. Idle in neutral is the rpm when out of gear. Try setting it where you want in the options. If that doesn't work call Bama.

Would increasing command idle give you more acceleration? I find mine is better but still not totally convinced. I had a dual boost a pump installed. Has made a big difference but odd time she falls flat.

Adjusting idle won't do anything for acceleration. You need to datalog to see what's going on when it falls flat.
