Is a ceramic coating really worth it?? i'm about to buy some longtubes, but am being cheap. if the cars not a daily driver?

YES. With the chrome, the coating will be gone withing a year, and will look bare. Bare metal rusts...easily. I would spend the extra money and get ceramic. I have ceramic shorties for about 50k miles now...they still look new.

Definitely go with the ceramic coating.
Not only does it look better, but it may save your starter too

because they look pretty when you see them in the magazine picture

and because there are cheap asses who don't want to spend more money to do things the right way the first time. :D

If i were building a track only car I'd go painted to save $$$ and I would wrap the hell out of them with hedder wrap anyway.
