Ceramic coating SS headers

Is it worth the money to have a good set of SS headers ceramic coated just to lower under hood temps? If there is a drop in temps, is it significant enough to notice and will this help performance?

Maybe if you can get the inside coated. Coating the outside may cause cracking issues on stainless.

BTW, significant difference in underhood temps! Worth the cost in every aspect!

Why not use header wrap?

header wrap is ok. heres where the problem lies: header wrap traps moisture. if you wash your motor a few times, water gets trapped and rusts the headers to hell.
