Center Caps

I bought these center caps for my fr500 replicas but they don't seem to fit.

It looks like they're MAYBE 1/16" larger than the caps that came with them, and when I tried to force one, the plastic cracked under the surface.

Unfortunately I bought them about a year ago, but misplaced them, so I won't be able to return them.

Has anyone else had this problem? I feel like I'm taking crazy pills because everything I read online tells me these should fit. The old caps click in and I can get them out using the suction cup from my nav system, but these get to the lip and just stop. I tried covering it with a towel and LIGHTLY tapping it in with a mallet and it still cracked.

I had the same thing happen with my Stein replicas, Jeff.

I have the same center caps, but with an "R", as you have. They came out of my '95 Cobra R track wheels, and I cracked one trying to get it to fit. It is the same size as the SVT cap in my '98 wheels, so I assume the holes in the replica wheels are a bit small.

I was a little disappointed, but not enough to find a solution yet.
