Hey all, just picked up my permit (before Obsama locks us all down) and was curious as to how many of my MACA bretheren carry?

I would like to know what you carry, lessons learned on carrying, etc...

I have read some say anything less than a .45 ACP is wimpy..blah blah blah..

But was looking at a slick little Ruger .380.. will fit in a pocket.

Please do share what you know or what you recommend for carry...

Thanks,

Ken

I carried a glock 17 (9mm) for a while, it was too bulky though. I have a 9mm glock 26 that I carry with a crossbreed supertuck holster (best I have ever used BTW)

Im not concerned about caliber, with 11rds of +P amo I'll be fine.

Good info and thanks, this is the kinda feedback I am looking for.

How do you do in the summer with say just a t-shirt and shorts, seems it would be mre difficult to conceal the bigger pieces..

I have been looking at the G26 as well, looks like a nice unit.

GLOCK 36 Slim & powerfu Six rounds of .45 AUTO. . ... in a package that fits into the hands of any user. With the new GLOCK SLIMLINE™ we present grip ergonomics of the next dimension By using a single-stack magazine, the GLOCK 36 measures only 28.5mm/1.13 in. in width. Together with the secure- grip design, this makes handling the pistol very easy.

Also carry a Ruger SP 101 357 magnum. My wife carries the Ruger LCP all loaded with HP.

Since trying to get a permit in MD is almost impossible, I carry a pack of TnT 16 piece firecrackers along with a bic lighter.

I'm heading back home (Oklahoma) for a few weeks next month, and I'm going to see about getting my CCW while I'm there. In which case, I'll be carrying a Springfield XD .45 ACP. :)
