I would definitely contact the authorities. If you bought a car from them, I'd imagine they did it to that too! **** shady business's.

In MD we call the MD State Police and they handle all things *Vehicle* related in terms of legality. What dept typically handles vehicle inspections/things of the like. THIS IS A HUGE ISSUE YOU NEED TO BRING TO SOMEONES ATTENTION.

Or contact the dealer with proof and get them to pay you off.........

I would report your findings and have the proper authorities investigate it properly. Good luck with the car, hopefully you can get your money back

And make sure its the same VIN. I can't believe people think they can get away with this crap anymore. Seriously? Way too easy to check.

Just checked my old insurance card vin matches the one they have online. I'll see if a buddy will go check it out tomorrow.

Thats the other thing that pisses me off. These people are doing this shit to RARE limited production cars. Not just the Ford Taurus granny drove to church.

The saddest part of it all is they have at least 10-15 valuable cars including a Shelby gt500kr.

I don't know how they expect to get away with this, when the car gets re-registered and the mileage logged, it'll get flagged in the system....
