I'm currently running a single filtered open air catch can in my Whipple 3.4 Marauder with - 10 hoses from the valve covers. Is there a down side to running a drain line from the catch can to the oil pan? I'm using a stainless steel material in the can... Will I need to use a different separator material, since I'm reintroducing the oil back into the system. Will I need a check valve so oil, when under boost, is not pushed up the drain line into the catch can or is the crank case pressures not high enough to need one? Thank you...

Most of the liquid trapped in a catch can is water so it's best to just drain it manually as needed.
