Cat-back installation question

OK, I have my new Magnaflows here and I'm trying to get the stock off. I undid the four bolts. The fasteners are a little stuck under there, so I'll bang them loose with a hammer. My question is: How do I get the hooks off of the rubber hangers? Do I stick a screwdriver in there and pull? Looks tough to me. How did you guys do it?

Spray the bottom of the hanger (where the hanger goes into the rubber) with a soap and water solution. The more soap the better. Pull like hell and watch your knuckles, and push the rubber off the hanger with your thumbs. it may take a couple of soakings to to get them off but I did not pry mine off on either car.
