There is a clip from the new 007 movie "Casino Royale" movie which was shown on french TV (first clip ever) and it was upladed to the internet. This was not supposed to be shown until the previews before The DaVinci Code later this month.

I think the movie looks awesome, except thats from seeing it in a different language in an uncomplete form.

Cant wait for this to come out. Love James Bond movies and kind of anxious to see how Daniel Craig will play him. Only movie I've seen with him in it is "Layer Cake" and he was pretty good.

I'm a huge Bond fan and can't wait for this film to come out. I hope that the new guy is good, I liked Brosnan as Bond.

IMO, Brosnan was one of the best other than Moore and Connery, but this guy...eh, I dont know about him yet. We'll see. I wasnt impressed with the last one cause it has turned into an all CGI movie.

They decided to do Casino Royale partly because they wanted to get away from huge visual effects filled movies, make it more personal.

I've always liked James Bond so I'll be seeing this one. Connery was freakin awesome as Bond, Moore I didn't like too much. And even though he was only in two Bond movies, Timothy Dalton did good in both of them. When Brosnan started he did okay, but Die Another Day was terrible I think. I have faith in Daniel Craig, I saw him in Munich and he did good in that.

Especially when the original John Williams score starts to play .... Still gives me goose bumps.

Particularly like the scene with Luthor going over the edge with Lois .... Dude is a nut bag!

Damn that movie looks like it's going to be good and this new guy seems better than I first thought. I'm a huge Bond fan too, I own every movie on DVD.

A bunch of total nut bags sent several hundred emails to the MGM and Sony senior executives to protest the "dilution of the Bond franchise" with an "ugly blond unknown actor" and threatining to boycott the film. Luckily they weren't very bright (go figure) so almost none made their way to the intended targets, but it got some lite media attention.

That being said, I haven't seen the clips yet but I bet it will be at minimum, a very good film. The studio's are generally not that stupid- they might not make the right up-front choices for a new film, but they do know when a film is a bomb well before it's released; the problem is they don't know until the majority of the cost is sunk into it. A film is considered to break-even when the gross is twice what it cost to shoot.

Bond isn't scheduled to finish shooting until early July with an estimate Nov release, so whatever you're seeing is just a small chunk - the movie can go many ways. The Bond series has a lot of potential; especially considering the budget (and even among films considered to be big-budget, Bond is definitly swingin' a big sack). With a major actor change and the email/media visability it'll have a lot of internal attention and the editors should get good stock to work with- if the post production team is on the ball we'll see a really great movie . They'll be under a lot of pressure to put out something pretty freekin' decent with this one.
