who has the best carrier for a solid axle. mine had a torsen carier in it and i broke it.so they talked me into putting a moser spool in it and this spool sucks.you should drive the car it feels like it is broke again. i cant belive how it feels the thing makes all kinds of noises does anyone know anything about the detroit locker i need some advice.

umm, the Torsen went cuz its meant for autoXing an turning, but it'll go fast from drag racing......
of course a spool is loud....so is a detroit locker, they all make nois cuz they have no clutch packs.....
my vote uld be on an eaton posi unitor trac-lok with xtra clutch packs.

I use a 31 spline ford trak lok with extra clutch packs...it's held up fine so far
The Eaton Posi unit seems to the current favorite.
I can attest to the fact that they are durable, after beating the shit out of it this season.
That and good 31 spline axles.
Unless you car is a dedicated racer, I'd skip the spool and the Detroit locker. Not too street friendy.
