I'm going to pull my carpet within the next week or two to check for a short somewhere in my wire harness. I'll take a look then. Did you remove any wire under the center console before you took that picture?

The wiring harness for the console is attached to the console. There will be a plug for the driver seatbelt, the console, power seat, and two unused plugs.

The main front to rear harness is on the driver side, there was no wiring on the passenger side.

The carpet was pretty easy to take out and reinstall. 15mm for the seat bolts and T47 for the seat belts.

My new carpet showed up today. As soon as I opened the box I knew it was a bust. It looks olive green to me, not anywhere near saddle, so back to Summit it goes.

I reinstalled the old carpet.....for now.

If you ignore the big blue cable, which is the power from my aftermarket amplifier, this is how the wiring looks.

My 97 is much different. The harness has a big flat plastic piece on it.

Once I put the carpet back in I was able to figure out how it goes.

That carpet has been bugging me for weeks. Yesterday I drove up to Mustangs Unlimited and bought a new carpet.

Hope to have my front end lowered and the carpet in by Monday night.
