Carpet cleaner question

What is the best cleaner to use for your carpets? Something that is not heavily scented would be ideal. Every cleaner I have used has an overwhelming perfume that takes months to disperse. As a result I neglect my floors and mainly just vacuum regularly and spot treat as required. Has anyone post treat with scotch guard or some other product? The cars I care about in my garage only see a few thousand miles a summer so the wear and tear is minimal.

Thak you for the Help

It worked great

Thanks for the help. Diluted it w/ water and applied to w/ my wife’s carpet cleaner. Looks nice and the smell is not overwhelming.

I tried this stuff at autzone in a yellow can, took a 12 year old stubborn oil stain out of the carpet in my house, when professional cleaners failed.

Made the carpet in my car look brand new.
