carbon fiber wiper cowl

some sort of clear slippery liquid that I think might be a type of sap got all over my car, and stained my black plastics with white dots.
so im thinking about replacing the cowl with a carbon fiber piece and painting my mirrors white to match my car.

it is good quality, but im worried it will look like crap on a white car. what do you all think? this is the only picture I can find if someone with it installed:
