I was wondering if anyone here has had any experience with running a carburetor on a DOHC 4.6. i was considering it but I cant seem to find to much information on it. I like the idea of it because I could tune it myself. I looked at Sullivan intakes and they are pricey and they are a short runner design.

If anyone has anything to say please post. Thanks

Yes it has been done. A guy down the street from where I used to live had a carbed DOHC 4.6 in his restomod Mustang with a Sullivan and a single turbo. You can contact him on qcaaf.com. I believe he goes by "65svtfastback."

Okay i have to ask, but what are the pros and cons to doing this...other than being out of the ordinary!

That's about it. Wouldn't be able to use the shaker I'm sure....unless you could set up the air cleaner to be just like the 69 70 Cobra Jet and have a real functioning ram air shaker scoop. That would be nasty.
