SO yesterday my car overheated and spewed out the coolant. It turns out the fuse was blown for the fan.

Once i replaced the fuse, the fan made a horrible noise. So i yanked it out at 1:00am this morning(i love having this as my dd)I found the plastic ring that goes around the end of the fan blades to stabilize them, broke and was vibrating.

Now i gotta spend 275 on a new fan!

yes. the fuse blew because the fan is borked. fuses dont just magically blow for no reason.

with a fluidyne radiator, my car did ok with no fan as long as i was moving. temps would creep up at stop lights, but once i took off again they'd go back to normal. thats without the a/c on, though.

dont forget to fill it from the burp plug.
