i just put a new tank,aeromotive 340 pump,new fuel filter and a new kirban adjustable fuel pressure regulator on the car a few days ago.drove fine for the last 150 miles till today as i was getting off the highway it just shut off.coasted to the end of the off ramp and pulled over.pop the hood and everything seem ok.got back in and it started right up.drove 5 miles home and every thing was fine.i did notice that my battery voltage drops low with the AC on full blast.i do have an aftermarket amps and the fuel pump has the upgraded wiring/relay.alternator is a few years old and battery is a 1 year old ford motorcraft.could it be a charging issue ?

Simple, start by checking the battery, checking voltage while at idle and at 3k rpms to see what it is making. Then move on from there.
just check the voltage with the ac on full blast,headlights on and rear deforster and with a voltmeter its saying 12.5 and sometimes dips to 11.90
