Car Cover Advice

My car will have a new home since I'm moving from an apt to a house. The house has a carport attached to the side of the house but is not enclosed in the front, except for a gate. I just want to try to keep as much of the elements away from the car. I don't drive her very much(work), so it will probably be covered most of the time. Another concern is the "hotter than hell" heat here in South Texas. Can anyone recommend a good car cover? Anyone else in extreme heat areas have good luck with your cover? I'm looking at the California Car Cover "Noah" or the "Stormweave". Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

I just go the Carcraft Noah cover as a Birthday present from the girlfriend. I park my car in the garage but the dust is heel on my black vert top so a cover was a good idea. I like that it has a Cobra on the front hood section that looks awesome. She may have paid to much for it but it looks so good I will use it when I park outside at work to keep the bircrap off. It has the NOAH fabric and looks like it would breath in the heat and humidty very weel. I live in Tennessee and we have about the same heat humidity as you Texas folks.

Check our fordcollection.com thats where she ordered it from. $230 I think.

Good luck:beer:

I recently bought a Covercraft Weatherguard cover for my Cobra. It is very lightweight, made of Nextec material. Snow and rain are all over the cover, yet the car remains dry.

If you want a heavier cover, the Noah is good too. I went with the Weatherguard as I was more concerned about rain and snow getting through and it is supposed to be the best for that.

Hope it helps. I have 2 Noah covers because they breath well and seem to offer just a little padding for a cat jumping or anything that shouldn't have happened.

The car jacket it awsome also and might buy a car cacoon this year

I recenlty bought a California car cover. I got the Dustop indoor cover because my car is stored indoor and I'm sure they have outdoor covers. The fit is excellent. Material is very soft and I received alot compliments on it. I paid around 200$.

Thanks for the replies everyone, and Cobra10thaniv for all the links! I think I'm going to go with the Noah.
