hi guys i have a problem i cant solve.
when i drive my mustang to work everything is fine, if i come straight home after work my car runs fine.
if i go to the gas station, then to the store , then another store, then start to drive home my car breaks down. it starts up and holds idle for 10 secs. i can rev it up and then rps start bouncing around and can no longer rev up . it tries to hold idle but dies .
seems like it does this after long driving and after starting the car up 3 0r 4 times before . hope thats enough to understand clear.
drive to work and back : fine
drive to work and store then home: fine
drive to wok and to store then to other store, then go to leave : begins to bog after 10-30 secs
its left me in the middle of traffic twice already and is a pine.
car cranks fine starts up then bogs then dies.
the longer it sits the longer it will idle/drive
it happened yesterday mid day and left the car till 1030 at night fired up and got me home just fine. there's no over heating at all with the engine its self but seems like something is getting overworked or hot
changed :
plugs
wires
distributor
mass air flow sensor and basic tune up.
some one said it could be the coils in the distributor. can some one shed some light on that thx
