Can you swap blowers and keep the same tune.

I am wanting to get a Whipple. I have the stock Eaton with the 2.80 upper and a JDM SCT tune. Can I swap out the Eaton with the Whipple with same boost level?? I know the will be a power increase but do I need another tune. The reason I am doing this is because I want to install the charger myself then drive it to where I am going to get it tuned. I live in North Ala. and I am planning on taking it to Modular Powerhouse. I hear they are great with Cobra's unless anyone knows of anywhere else in North Ala.

Yeah you'd be fine, just stay out of boost entirely just to be safe when you drive to your shop to get tuned. Don't forget the supporting mods with that whipple.

Just need a BAP , MAF extender, injectors and a built rear end for the supporting mods right.

Yes and no. If you do the swap correctly you will need injectors, maf, and a bap. The car will run like crap without a tune. If you want to take the car to the shop with the Whipple on and then install the supporting mods, you can do that. But stay out of boost or boom.
