can u hook up an after market amp to stock stereo

My understanding is that if you have the MACH system, you cannot use an aftermarket amp with the speakers and receiver. You can use aftermarket receiver.

Exactly. It's called a "Line-Out Convertor," and it splices into the rear speaker wiring. This is what I used to hook up my aftermarket amp & sub. The stock Mach system provides no preouts.

+1 part number is metflloc600 .. .line out converter
