I posted this question over in the tech section and ave not recieved any replies. I just would like a ball park estimate.
I have a 1990 Mustang 5.0 LX hatchback. I have alum. heads, alum. driveshaft, centerline wheels, and no smog pump. Can anyone give me an estimate of what the car would weight with a half tank of gas and a 210lb driver(my father)?
The car has a GT-40 crate motor(320hp version, alum. heads, b303 cam) it also has bolt ons like cobra intake, 65mm throtte body, 30 lb injectors, 73mm mass air, 90/10 struts, trick springs, lift bars, 4.10 gear, spool, and slicks. I might have left some little bolt-ons out.
It has run a [email protected] with a 1.701 60ft time. It runs 7.80s through the eigth at 87mph.
The weekend before I made the run, at Darlington International Dragway in SC, it dynoed a SAE rated 275.5rwhp at ATS in columbia south carolina. Also what is usually the difference between ratings in SAE and ratings in STD(standard) horsepower?
Any help would greatly be appreciated.
