Sorry for the dumb question - I have tried searches but the search function is a PITA to use - sorry...

So - what's a PPRV mod, why is it used and under what circumstances???

Thanks in advance - please point me at a simple explanation if it's already published...

"The PPRV is the "positive pressure relief valve." Basically it's a valve that goes between the two pumps and the hat that prevents drainback when the car is sitting to give you quicker start-ups. However as an in-line valve it's a large restriction, can raise your FPDC (fuel pump duty cycle) and the Cobra guys complain of hesitation during shifts due to it."

aha - great - thank you. So when doing mods (like fitting a Whipple 2.3L which I'm doing later this year) I should pay attention to the fuel pump duty cycle - I have a BaP which should help, but this could still be a problem I'm guessing?

Correct It's a fuel pump duty cycle killer, I gotta get a Fore twin hat and ditch the stock 04 Cobra one I have with the PPRV still intact, that thing is a restriction, it's pinhole size.
