I can't find ps2 tires with my stock 285/35/20 in the back. Even in the front I can't find any 265/40/19 only goodyear g2 and I don't want them. So I searched and found 295/35/20 ps2 for rear and 275/40/19 for front I just wana make sure its ok to go with these sizes?

Thanks

if you do the math on that tire, you'll see that 295/35/20 is a bit taller OD than the stock wheel. but it will work if you have wheels with the proper offset ;-)

What are the wheel dimensions? We do not have a fitment just yet for your application.

19X9.5 F

20x9.5 R

I dunno what's the offset of these wheels. They are stock 2011 SVT performance package wheels.

So u think if i go with 295/30 will be better?

The front tire size (275/40-19) will work on the front wheels but the 295/35-20 for the rear is not recommended for a wheel narrower than 10" (10" to 11.5").

The tire options on the 2010 + applications are just difficult right now for the OEM wheels. The tire industry should catch up though in 2011 with more options.

i dont know if anyone makes that size. not to mention the sidewall will be pretty small. unfortunately, there really arent a lot of choices if you dont want to run a DR (ie the Nitto). i go through this all the time helping customers choose tires for their shelbys.

are you set on only running PS2s?

there's guys running 315's on 9's so I think you will be A okay with a 295 on a 9.5

i wouldnt put a 315 on anything narrower than a 10 myself.

im sure a 295 would fit ok on a 9.5" wheel but it will have some bulge, and be taller than the stock OD. those svtp wheels appear to have the same offset as the shelby razor wheels, which means 285 is the biggest you can run without running into rubbing issues. although, the 2010/2011 cars' fenders seem to be a little more forgiving (ie allowing a hair of more space). if youre not worried about being slightly taller than the stock OD, then you should be ok if the wheels are sitting ok.

take off one of the wheels and measure the backspacing (unless that's available online somewhere already). that will kind of help determine how big you can go on the tires.

and if you plan to keep those wheels on there, consider sending the rears to weldcraft to have them widened. 9.5 is pretty narrow for a GT500 :nonono: especially if you do any mods (ie pulley swap). if the backspacing on that wheel is good, id widen it to 10.5 at least. possibly even 11, to get a nice fat footprint on there.

i just did a 20x11 for a member here and put some tires on for him. toyo R888 in 315/30/20. thing is effing wiiide. should be really nice for his pullied 2011 :burnout:

^ Ya i really like ps2 i always run them on my car.
I don't like to widen stock wheels for safety reasons.
I might pick up a different set of wheels so i can put wider tires.

Not to hop in without being invited, but I always like having a second set of wheels for tires meant for a different type of application. When I had my C63, I had winter wheels & tires and summer wheels & tires. The dual sets made life a lot easier.
