Can anyone tell me what motor this is and what this is all about? What kind of setup is this, it almost looks like something factory??

can't be the 427, intake manifold is too narrow. I'm thinking its 302 or 351 based. Looks to be fairly tall in the engine bay, 289's and 302's usually sit a bit lower in that body-style. I'd say its probably based on a 351.

Looks like a SBF with two old school ball driven Paxtons and a dual carb manifold. Def not a BBF, look at the width between the valve covers on both the engine shots. Plus dist doesn't pass thru the intake manifold like the BBF does.

I wouldn't say a 351 based small block only because its a 65/66 car, but since it has already been modded anything is possible. The carbs do sit up high, but the dual quads and the spacers beneath will raise them up quite a bit. Only way to tell is with better photos, specifically the height of the water outlet in relation to the water pump.

If you are seriously considering a purchase wouldn't you ask the seller the info then take the time to confirm everything? Ask for documentation of the build, what shop built it (if any) etc...

In the 5280'
there used to be a company down in Texas that got shutdown for making fake Eleanors or something like that, think it was Unique Performance or something, they were putting in 427's with twin centrifugals that looked like that back in the early 2000's, it was one of the options for the 67 Shelby GT500 Super Snake, so it very well could be a 427.

The shock towers look like they are still intact so because of that, it looks like a 351w with a high rise dual quad intake (probably stroked to at least a 427)

probably 4150 carbs which is why they have to be mounted sideways so that they will fit. I know those superchargers cost a good amount, I wonder what the engine cost to build with that type of induction setup. And to think, I was worried about having to find another rebuild kit for the autolite 4100 on my 66 tonight.

It would be cool to hear what that thing sounds like when it is running

The car in the photos is not a '67, its a 65/66 body. And straight away I can tell that the intake manifold is a SBF, not any type of BBF.

the grill, side vents, gas cap and no back up light make this car easily identifiable as a 65

i cant see if any pic guarantees the intake doesnt go under the valve covers, but looks like a 351w based motor.
