Cams with blower, power question

Here is my question.

I have a KB 2.1 at 9psi. Stock longblock. Makes great power, and i am happy with the power it is at now. No 'real' intention of going any higher (i.e. built shortblock) anytime soon, or ever.

But I would like to throw some cams at it to give it that aggressive sound. Yes the bump in power would be nice as well.

Since the boost will not move over 9psi, but the power will likely go up, would it be safe still on the stock rotating assembly? Car is strong now, just below 500rwhp, but going over that mark would be great, and the sound of a cammed 4v is just amazing.

They would be custom grinds for the blower, if that makes a difference.
Thanks
