So I used the method of getting the dark link of the chain on the cam timing mark and getting the other dark link on the crank sprocket timing mark. The right side looks like it's supposed to in my mind:

It's hard to tell from the picture but the cam lobes are facing each other at about a 45* angle. The left side looks a little different...

The intake cam has lobes pointing kinda up and to the right... the exhaust cam has lobes pointing pretty much straight down. Is this correct? I'm used to the cams both facing each other at a 45* angle like the right side. Anybody have an answer for me. Oh, and when I turn the motor over by hand, nothing hits so that's good.

I had the valve seals replaced by my machinist and he's the one that assembled the heads, so IDK...

Go onto the how to link and look at "How to degree cams" it will tell you everything and more.

I had that printed out with me when I was doing the timing and I didn't even think to look at it. I'm a doofus.
