Cam Tech? (Crower Stage 3's)

Just curious,

The shop that has my cobra heads, fully ported, vavle job etc.....

Well they're installing my stage 3 crower cams,

The guy is stumped says there is way to much seat pressure on the lifters..... and no way to adjust it since theres no pushrod or adjustment on the rocker?????

I've already spoke to dave crower @ crower, but I have to get the guy with my heads to call him next week, hopefully monday.

Has anyone done these? anyone know this situation.

I'm hearing this cam will wipe out my lifters or the cams themselfs?

What is the normal seat pressure? 30-60lbs? I've heard the stage 3's are around 80lbs?

Any insight?

I'm clueless?

Also ................ anyone else besides me purchase the crower stage 3's?

I just ordered my Crower cams last night.. the stage III's look pretty intense, I hope you dont have to pass smog checks.. I went with the stage II's.

picked the heads up yesterday from H&G associates in pottstown pa.......... no one has heard of these guys, but the have a great clean shop, and they build big dollar race engines at prices that would make most look away..... I know I've seen prices on the low side of there list starting around 20K

They ported them, did a vavle job, and installed the cams....

I can wait to see them in action! These babies should make killer power.

I would really like to hear what happens too, I would be very intrested in going with the Stage II or III kit, $1600 isn't bad for all the stuff.
