Anyone put these in a blower car? They are list as NA cams... I can get a really good deal on a set with 2000 miles on them but I am not sure if they have too much overlap for a blower car, bleed boost... I know people have done it, videos on youtube... anyone here have expeience?

Comp cams said they will work fine but will bleed some boost. specs seem pretty close I would think adjustable sprokets could make up the difference

(106500) .050 Duration: 242/240, lobe separation 114

while a blower specific cam has
(106460) .050 duration 238/240, lobe separation 116

Given I will be paying for someone to do the work I would like to make sure it is the way I "should be" goinng.

Car is just for fun, street strip not many miles per year. Whipple 2.3 with all the goodies, complete Bassani exhaust........

The first N/A cams are reverse split duration. Not good for a blower car.

The blower cams are alittle better but are meant for high RPM use.

The 106360s would be as far as I would go as it doesn't have any overlap at 116 LSA or higher.

Thanks... u think Crower makes better cams these motors? Really awesome deal on the 106500s but I sort of figured too good to work out

How good a deal can you get? they can be installed with any lobe seperation you want. Lift and duration are all that really matter. With that said, these seems like alot of duration @ .050" for a street car. I have a set of Comp Cams that are 242/240 deg @ .050" and they made peak hp at 8200 rpms on a NA engine.

Asking 600$... maybe 500$. I have already passed on them, seems like a good deal but a lot less than ideal for a blower car.
