Cam Only C5 vs stock C6 Z06

Well after the track tonight, my buddy and me were playing around on the highway. His best time at the track tonight was 11.9 @125 and my best time tonight was 12.2@120. We went on the highway i knew i would lose, but i figure i'd run him just to see how i would do. we went from 60, i started in 2nd and he started in 3rd. He didn't catch me until close to 125-130mph and he pulled past me and 2-3 cars out, he shut down. Next run we both go from 2nd, i jump out but by 100, he's pulling past me again and 2-3cars out we shut. thats my first time seeing one run on the highway. WOW, those things pull mad crazy in triple digits. i make 407rwhp/370rwtq and he makes 447rwhp/412rwtq.

Nice races! If the Z could hook from 2nd @ 60mph he would pull you alot harder! 3rd gear @ 60 in the Z is pretty low in the rpm range for a roll race. I bet it was fun though!

Nice races! If the Z could hook from 2nd @ 60mph he would pull you alot harder! 3rd gear @ 60 in the Z is pretty low in the rpm range for a roll race. I bet it was fun though!

we did go from second and he pulled me ALOT harder than he did when he was in 3rd. that car is a beast off the showroom floor.

Hangin' lol, thats an overstatement. That Z06 pulled past me with ease close to 100. after he put 3 cars on me he shutdown, but i think if he didn't shut down, he would have at least added 2 more cars to his already 3 cars. I don't think i hung with him at all.
a 125 trap and a 120 trap is a big difference on the highway.
i will need a set of high flowing heads that would net at least 40-50rwhp just to run head to head with him.
