at the track tonight, my buddy has an '02 C5 6spd w/ torquer 2 cam and full exhuast and tune. he makes 410rwhp/375rwtq. I have the same car same tranny and same mods, but with a different cam (patriot 226) and catback. i made 407rwhp/370rwtq. well at the track tonight we both run. i went a 12.23@120 to his 12.26@118. that was one of the best runs i've had in a long time.


there was c5 vert out there tonight also that only had intake and exhaust, but he was on the 150 pill. his best time on the bottle was 11.8 @ 124

yea, many people are in "AWE" with my numbers and my little 226 cam. I guess my motor was built on a wednesday also.

It's the little cams with good valve events that make power and ET IMO. I've been very happy with my TR224 for the past couple years. Made 399rwhp @ 386rwtq with all the bolt ons and stock heads. Added cats to the setup and dropped to 389rwhp @ 375 rwtq. Added the cheap Patriot ported 5.3L heads and currently at 420rwhp @ 396rwtq.

gotta love the little cams..my little MTI c2 224 cam put up pretty good numbers with stock heads and monstrous numbers on a 150shot.

my cam only (224) auto runs 12.1x consistently but i only trap 113mph..

of course you love it, you have 4.10s to get in the power band quicker.
you wouldn't love you torquer cam if you had stock 3.42s
