Just bought some 9 thread heads for my 03 and had a few questions. The heads are bare so I will be sending them out for a valve job and buying springs, valves and cams. My questions are, first; what all should I have done at the machine shop? I want a valve job but don't know what else I should spend money on. I heard porting our heads doesn't yield much, suggestions welcome. Also, I'm buying cams but don't want them extremely aggressive, maybe a little more than stock so any suggestions there would be greatly appreciated as well. Also is there a how-to thread on assembling our heads? Just don't want to mess is up and have searched Google and couldn't find a good one. Thanks all!

I would recommend sending them to Livernois or another reputable modular motor shops for one of their port n polish jobs. My 2 cents.
You really think a port/polish is worth it on 4v heads? Also any write ups on cam installment?
