California: Very Clean 2003 Oxford White Cobra

Up for sale is my 03 Cobra. I actually just purchased this car but when I brought it home the fiancee got mad at me and said that I made a bad decision. After going back and fourth, I guess shes right. Were trying to save right now for a house. So, now my lose is your gain. I figured, it was my money and I wanted a Cobra. But since were getting married and thinking about purchasing a home, I have to give it to her, shes right. The car has 74k miles but you couldnt even tell. The previous owner took really good care of the car. The car is stock besides

H&R Sport springs
MGW shifter (orange handle)
Borla exhaust
10.5" AFS replicas in the back (comes with original rims as well)

Remember seeing one a month or two back in Southern Cali that needed a motor or motor work? Is this the same car? Motor repaired?

Probably not the same car. Haha. That would be bad. Im a Ford tech, right after I purchased the car I hooked it up to the IDS and check for relative compression and did a power balance test. Everything is fine.

Lol someone got called out. Yea the license plates are the same, you do not get new plates when you buy a used car. DMV just transfers the registration to the new owner.

OP...I doubt there's issues with your Cobra. Lescok was wondering if it was one FS in SoCal that had motor issues. That ad clearly does not indicate it so it's more than likely another car he was questioning about.

That's probably the car that OP bought, but more than likely a different car from the one lescok saw for sale with engine issues. No indication of any motor issues with the one in the CL ad and OP having given the care its due diligence and actually doing tests on the engine and the engine coming out clean is evidence enough that it's not the problem car

Yes I did. Then drove it straight home to the bay area. 9 hours. I think if there were engine problems, it would've manifested itself during those 9 hours.
