I'm active duty military stationed in CA and my vehicle is registered in the state of Nebraska. Can I be issued a fix it ticket for violating CVC by not having a front plate displayed?
Ca cant enforce NE law. But you can still get stop in ca for no front plate. Officer can and will ask why do not have one. You then need to explain that you are active duty.
what if I get a fix it ticket from the military police gate guard with nothing better to do than read up on which states require front plates and then get issued said ticket? Because the citation was for vilating CVC...
either of you dudes LEOs? If so can you gin up a letter for me on department letterhead so I have some firepower when I tell them I don't have to??
