If your familiar with Chicago area expressways we where on Rt 53
headed North.

I was clipping along at a decent pace and noticed a late model vette weaving through traffic trying to catch us. Rt 53 ends at Lake Cook Road and luck has it we get the light at Rand road. Rand runs at an an angle across Lake Cook so my nose was at his front door. Traction Control off, seat belt secure, and co pilot reports no cops. I slip the clutch perfect and the Nittos hook like they are advertised. I make up the slight lead he had in an instant and after first gear have a solid 2 car advantage. I hit 2nd hard and start walking away. The wife turns to me and asks
"was he racing?"

At the next light he waves and we compliment each others cars.
Cool vette owner and nice car IMO.

Thanks!

My car has Nitto 555r's
C&L CAI
Bassani Exhaust
Accufab Throttle Body

I have no idea what kind of transmission he had.
Between the exhaust and super charger I usually
can't hear the other car.

I heard those TB's provide some serious gain on an 03 cobra. Did you notice it when you installed it?

I dynoed the car after every modification.
The TB actually did very little for my car.
The CAI gave me almost a 25 HP gain.
I really believe the TB will prove its worth
after the chip and pulley.

I've heard that the TB DOES make a difference once you increase airflow (ie. Pulley) but is does wonders for throttle response. I'm considering a single blade TB.

Nice run.
