Looking for feedback on C Quartz (unless XPel or others are more recommended?) and, if possible, a recommendation for a detailing shop in the Pittsburgh area to apply, etc. Googling shows the only "authorized" C Quartz dealer as Wagner Auto body - anyone familiar with them/their work? Just finished up the mods and new Alcoa wheels, so I'd like to get her detailed next. Thanks for the input.

Cant provide any install help, but i have the CQ Quartz on my S550 and its the best money i have ever spent on a detail. Im now 3 months into having the application applied and water just rolls right off along with all the dirt.

Here are my pics the day it was applied...

That looks really nice! Mind if I ask ballpark price wise and turn around time? Did you do the wheels? Glass? Anything on the interior?

detailer prices vary based on how much prep work is required on the car, since mine was virtually brand new, i paid 300 for the application and i'd do it again thats how nice this stuff is. took him 4-5 hours. he used something on the wheels but with these brembo's it doesnt matter they still get dirty lol

I highly recommend Suntek/Xpel clear bras for the front, no more rock chips or bug etching for me.

I'm going with a C Quartz coating for the rest of the car though, won't have to worry about scratches either. My detail guy couldn't say enough positive things about either of these.

You can buy the Cquartz yourself or have a detailer do it. Only trained detailers are allowed to buy "Cquartz Finest"

And i have used plain Cquartz on my cars and it has lasted well over a year. The Cquartz for your car will run $57.00 (just the 30cc chemical bottle).

Plus it's on sale at Detailed Image for $39.99 until midnight Thursday (tonight)

If you can correct and wax then you can coat.

exactly what this guy said.
But I work at a high end paint correction shop and the boss does paint protection film
Just spent 30 hours on a Black 16 F150 Platinum. And I'm still not done

As far as Cquartz goes try to get Finest! It's their top tier one and it lasts. I am almost 2 years into mine and still going strong although I do maintain it and top with Reload a few times a year. I also use The Gloss Shop Trifecta after every wash.. keeps the paint extremely slick and glossy. You can't go wrong with CarPro products.. excellent company.

I can't tell you anything about Wagner but I can tell you CQuartz FINEST installers are hand picked and only one out of about every 200 Detailers that apply are chosen. http://www.cqfinest.com/

^^This!!
I got the Cquartz Finest applied to my '16 Ram Sport 4X4 regular cab and I cannot tell you how happy I am I did!
It is a breeze to wash the truck and keep clean. I just used the RELOAD today as a matter of fact after I had washed it. I paid a lot for the service, but I got a full detail and with Cquartz Finest, it requires a full detail and paint correction. They also cleaned my interior and engine bay, which were basically clean already. (Cquartz Finest can only be bought and applied by certain detailers that have signed a contract with CarPros.)

Here are a couple of photos from today after washing it last night. A wash and then I applied RELOAD on the full exterior.
