in the middle of race spring / cc plate install and got the plates in and am ready to deal with the 4 spacers (2 big 2 small), that are on the top of the shock. The instructions sayfor a lowered car 1 smallone under the c/c plates and 2 big 1 small above, the top of the strut is about 3 inches high in the engine bay, what the proper spacing?
this is on an 03 cobra

MM race springs dont drop the car much though. Mine were getting into the hood blanket with 3 on top , so I split the diffrence. 1 large and one small on top, same on the bottom.

some cell pics but you can see the drop
in the front it sits 26.5 to the fender and in the back its 26.75 with all stock iso's

I'm running the Griggs Racing Caster / Camber plates and didn't end up with much of the strut protruding into the engine bay:
