Buying a car from a broker?

Quick question: Is buying a car from a broker representing a private seller considered a private party sale or a dealer sale?

In Arizona, private party auto purchases are non taxable so it makes a difference.

It all depends on whether or not once you purchase it, if the title is ever signed over to the broker or registered in their name. If it is, dealer. If it's not, private.
