I was driving home yesterday, and my powersteering pump started making noises and my brakes felt funny. Well I pulled over and popped the hood and noticed the big return hose on the powersteering resivior(sp) had been pushed against the belt and had a hole pouring out fluid. I drove home and pulled the hose, replaced it, and filled w/ fluid. Easy fix.... Now the car is still making that noise when I turn the wheel or hit the brakes. Can you get air in the lines? How can I get it out? That little drive home didnt mess up my pump huh??

Thanks guys,
Verlin

yes you can get air in the lines. easiest way to get a good bit of it out is sitting still pop the cap off the resevior, get in the car start it, then turn the wheel lock to lock. while pumping the brake pedal. after you do this it may still be a bit noisey so take it out for a ride. all should be well dont forget to top the fluid off after you get the air out.
