Busted fan connections

Just like the title says..my fan was not kicking on so I pulled a part the connections and saw the connections were bad not contacting. Could I just clip off the connectors and connect the wires direct to each other? Would that change anything? Any help is appreciated

Shouldn't hurt a thing but I personally would go to Ford and buy the correct replacement connector , it will be cheap enough and easy enough to replace ?

Crazy..this had happened on mine.


The fan side connector..barrels were back to far..
I pulled red lock off..pushed wires into connector..

Than made sure to hold wire's while reconnecting. .

Bone yard is great for used connector if needed
