I didn't say Ronin was good. I said, "If you want to see a good movie car chase scene, watch Ronin." You must've missed this part when I was talking about Bullitt: "... The car chase seen was the only good part in it. And even that wasn't as great as it's hyped up to be. ..." So, I don't know where you're getting "apples to oranges." I compared one chase scene to another. Seems like apples to apples to me.
