I thought I would never sell this vehicle, but what I've learned is to never say never. It's a 2003 Black Ebony Ford Lightning with a built engine and a Precision T-76 TurboCharger. I feel this is probably one of the baddest lightnings around and will scare the pants off anyone that drives it. When the turbo spools to full boost it is very violent and breaks the tires loose at anything below 60mph. The engine is brand new because it decided to spin a bearing at 65mph cruising on the interstate.

The truck was tuned by Bob Kurgan of Kurgan Motorsports, whom is an authority on tuning Fords and even more specifically modular Fords. It was tuned on a very very conservative dyno at 15psi with 12 degrees timing on 93 pump. He managed to squeak out 610rwhp and 635rwtq at 15psi. At the dyno session, I was also rolling on a very heavy set of 22" chrome wheels. Like I mentioned above, it is very violent in the top end when the turbo spools. We spun it to 6200 and it was still making power. The turbo cams are agressive and really make it scream in the top end.

When the turbo isn't spooling, it drives like a bone stock f150 and really makes it almost impossible to imagine how powerful it is when the boost hits. Before the truck was built and had heads and cams, it manged 550rwhp at 15psi. I think in the current state at 15psi it will do 650rwhp on most dynos, and possibly more with 3 more degrees of timing. The engine itself has less than 500 miles and is still being pampered during its break in period.

I personally have $17,000 worth of receipts for the mods of the truck, not including the price of the turbo kit. Nothing was missed on this truck, and I think it is more than capable of doing over 700rwhp on race gas.

Price is $20,000
The truck is located in Bettendorf, Iowa 52722. It is 2 1/2 hours west from Chicago on the Mississippi River.

That sucks. I don't have the cash, but if I did, I'd get it in a heartbeat. That's a sweet ride. You have any more vids?

If you have questions, your best bet it to email me. The motor was broken in before I made that video. Same tune.

I've never had a clean run. I've taken it twice to the strip. The first time it was at an event called Hangover Fest which is the day after new years and it was like 20degrees outside. I was on 22" chrome rims and could only muster up a 13.4 at 115. I was spinning 3/4 the way down the track and it was just un safe so I did part throttle. There were 10 second and 9 second cars there and the fastest time of the day was a 12.5

The second time I went, I had it at 7psi just to get a safe run down the track on street tires. The second run, the drain plug was dripping and I got called off the line. Power wise with the stock stall, a high 11 is easily possible. And we are talking 2.0-2.2 60ft.
