Currently have 03 cobra with ported heaton (mods in sig).
Ive been throwing the idea of building my own turbo single turbo kit and had a few questions.
-Goal is 650-850whp (multiple tunes)
-91 and e85, already fuel return with 1050s and going from twin 340s to twin 465s
-use hpx maf
-15-20psi bone stock motor
-keep t56
-have 3.55s still irs car.
-already have UPR chrome kmember and a arms with coilovers
-76mmish turbo bb, .96 ar ish size
-I have a 04 mach 1 intake i got for cheap. should i have it ported? add plenum spacer? factory throttle body?
For this hp goal should i run 3 or 3.5" ic piping, 3" from turbo to fmic the 3.5 from fmic to throttle body? all ic piping will be Aluminum.
54mm bov?
-bov as close to fmic as possible.
I plan to do 2.5" stainless hot side (wrapped) with 2 46mm waste gates vented, factory manifolds flipped forward facing. keep ps, ac, abs, move radiator forward if needed.
Ill make a 4" down pipe then y into magna flow cat back, possibly add a cut out.
car right now at 3500rpm puts down 575ftlbs. id like to keep the peak torque around 3500-4000rpm area. willing to sacrifice some hp to have a more streetable car.
